Comments: Never having seen Motley Crüe before, neither Rhonda nor I had any idea what to expect. They had some great songs; Dr Feelgood, Girls Girls Girls, Kick-start My Heart. It was going to be an interesting set to be sure. Problem was the sound sucked. Well, I won’t get into it here. Read my review of this concert here if you want my take on this concert.

Comments
This show fell the evening before Tommy Lee’s 44th birthday. As an early birthday gift Aerosmith invited him to sit in on Drums for “Last Child”. His playing was sloppy but spirited as he was pretty well blotto by this point in the evening. I wonder how long it took to wipe the “I’ve just died and gone to heaven” grin off of his face. David Hull filled in for Tom Hamilton while Tom was being treated for throat cancer.
