Comments:
Exact set list not known. A Canadian band opening for probably THE Canadian band. Can’t really remember to much about Chalk Circle except they weren’t to hard on the ears.

Comments: Rhonda, Henry and I attended this show. After Henry had re-introduced me to Rush during the bands Power Windows tour I was once again hooked on seeing them live. The videos below are from the bands A Show of Hands video release and is a very accurate, though abbreviated version of the concert we saw that evening.

I’ll admit, right here and now, that the bands Hold Your Fire release didn’t really resonate nearly as deeply with me, it was still a most excellent release. Especially songs like Time Stand Still with Aimee Mann from the Boston area band Till Tuesday providing a vocal counterpoint. Great song.

And still the old war horses were still in evidence. Just don’t think I could handle a Rush concert without hearing The Spirit of Radio or something from 2112. And who could ever forget Tom Sawyer.

Rush have never failed to impress me live, from the first time I saw them in 1976 up until the last time I saw them live in 2007 on their Snakes and Arrows tour. They have always, always managed to impress. Long live Rush.
