Aardvark’s Upcoming Releases – June 11, 2013 Edition

So, the coming months are pretty damned exciting for those of us interested in Classic Rock. A number of expanded re-releases coupled with a smattering of new releases upcoming in the next few months.

First up, the re-releases:

Eagle Rock Entertainment will re-release Rockshow, the 1980 video which chronicled the 1976 Wings Over America tour. Thing is, the original release only contained a select snapshot of the entire concert experience. On Thursday, July 11th of this year the entire concert will be made available for the first time. New releases:

13After 35 years, three quarters of the original Black Sabbath have reunited and produced an album of brand new material titled 13.  While Bill Ward opted out of the reunion, this still promises to be a classic Sabbath disc, with a number of songs already trotted out and tested in concert during their recent tour of Australia and points south. Supported by the lead track God Is Dead? 13 promises to be one of the top albums of the year for 2013.
